Stephanie watched Triple H destroy Kurt Angle from outside the ring. She didn’t know whether to cheer or not. Then Hunter went out of the ring and came back with a steel chair. Kurt was laid out in the middle of the ring after the devastating Pedigree Triple H had just given him. Stephanie, without thinking, climbed up to the apron and stepped inside the ring. She tried to convince Hunter to get rid of the chair, but he wouldn’t listen. Stephanie got in front of him and tried to block Kurt. Hunter barked at Stephanie to move. She wouldn’t. During this time, Kurt had regained his consciousness. He had snuck up behind Hunter, but somehow Hunter hadn’t noticed. He gave him a low blow, which was undetected by the referee. He rolled him up for the pin and got the 3 count. Kurt began jumping up and down, and even grabbed Stephanie and began to hug her. When Hunter saw this he was enraged, and stormed off down the ramp. “Oh no,” Stephanie thought.
After Kurt was done celebrating, Stephanie ran down the ramp to the backstage area. She asked the other superstars if they had seen where Hunter had gone. She walked up to Test. “Have you seen Hunter?” Stephanie asked. “Yeah. He went that way.” Test answered pointing in the direction Hunter had gone. “Thanks,” she said. “No Problem,” Test said.
Stephanie went into the Men’s Locker Room, and began looking for Hunter. “Hunter? Are you there? I’m so sorry you lost the match. Please forgive me.” There was no reply.
Then, all the sudden, someone hit Stephanie in the back of the head. They hit her hard, so hard, she immediately fell to the ground with a thud. “You think you can get away with this? Costing me my match, and then lusting over that Olympic Jackass? You’ll pay…big time.” With that, he slung Stephanie over his shoulder, and began to take her off to his car. Hunter chuckled to himself as he began to take her to his car.
Unknowingly to Hunter, Chris Jericho, Stephanie’s enemy, had overheard Hunter’s words concerning Stephanie. Even though Stephanie wasn’t exactly his best friend, he knew Hunter, and if Hunter said something, he meant it.
He tried to follow Hunter as best as he could, but he lost him at the second set of lights. “Damn,” Chris thought to himself, “Now what?”
Hunter had thrown the unconscious Stephanie into the passengers seat with Hunter driving the car. He hadn’t been aware that Chris Jericho was following him. Hell! He hadn’t even known it was Chris Jericho. He had lost him though, and now Stephanie was in the hands of a maniac, and there was nothing Chris could do….
