How am I going to tell her? Jericho was
contemplating ways in the dark. He was in a stiff
hotel desk chair watching his sleeping beauty.
Listening to her deep breaths.
He had laid her on her hotel bed at about
midnight. It was now 4 a.m. He had not slept a wink.
How could he? He had left the WWF, joined the
Alliance, and that wasn't the worst of his problems.
He was now in a hotel room with the girl he considered
his soul mate, and she hated him. How was he going to
tell her that he loved her.
He would normally go to Jeff or Matt when
he
had a problem but not he would have to settle for no
one. Maybe he could go to Lance Storm or Hurricane
Helms. What's up with that?
"God, I have to have some
coffee," Jericho
groaned. He got and started to walk to the coffee
maker in Stephanie's room.
"Shane is that you?"
Jericho stopped dead in
his tracks. "Why are you in my room? What happened?"
Stephanie asked groggily.
"What happened? Oh I'll
tell you what
happened. Your bastard of a husband came back and
beat you to a pulp," Jericho spitted out. He then
realized his words cane out harsh. But he was angry.
He had always hated Triple H. He was married to
Stephanie, the girl of his dreams. And now his recent
return. It had pushed Jericho over the edge and he
finally reacted.
"Jericho," Stephanie
gasped. "What are you
doing here? Why are you here? What happened?
"Hunter came back tonight,"
Jericho replied
calmly.
"So? Where is he? Why are
you OW!!!" Jericho
quickly grabbed an ice pack and aspirin out of the
bathroom. "Here, here, here. Take these." Stephanie
swallowed the aspirin and put the ice pack on her
throbbing head.
"What happened to
me? Why do I feel like
I've been through a car accident?"
"Well it wasn't a car
accident. It was a
visit from your husband. He clothes lined you and
then pedigreed you."
"Hunter did this to
me?" Stephanie asked
through tears.
"Yes. I'm
sorry."
"Sorry?
Shouldn't you be laughing in my
face. And I still don't get why you are here?"
"I'm the one you
saved you."
"You saved me?
Hold up! I don't believe
you. You are in the WWF and you hate me more than
anyone in this world," Stephanie screamed.
"I have joined the
Alliance. And I don't
hate you. I...I....I love you!" There he had said
it. HE had admitted his feelings. But how was
Stephanie going to react?
"Love me? NO
you don't. You hate me. You
may have joined the Alliance, but there is no way I
will ever like you. Don't play mind games with me
Jericho. Just get out!!" Stephanie screamed harshly.
Just the way he thought she
would.
