There are moments when you treat me like a Princess, and in those moments, as I'm wrapped in your arms, I just want to spend the rest of my life with you. But those moments are few and far between. More often than not, we're calling each other every name in the book. After those showdowns, I'm completely drained and you're the last person I ever want to see again. There have been times, when I've written you a go to hell note and left it for you, only to come back and tear it up before you find it.

You push me as far as you can, then you stop, just as I'm about to explode or burst into tears. You know me so well, that you can read me like a book and pick up on the little signs that nobody else can. You're like a child, you always have to have the last word, to leave me standing there, wondering what the hell I'm going to say or do and what's going to happen now. It takes self control that I didn't know I had not to attack you because in those moments, when I come closer to losing control than I ever have, I remember the good moments that make it worth while. And how much I love you.

It's simply because I love you. I love you more than I've loved anyone in my
entire life. You're my heart, my soul, my life. There's nothing I wouldn't do
for you and although a word from you can have me throwing things around the room
in anger, it's followed a look that makes want me want to be spend eternity
wrapped in your arms. When you find someone you love like that, you don't let go
of them, no matter what .

I can take a lot of crap, but you know exactly how to drive me nuts. Those
little dresses, surrounding yourself with those guys who have more than a
friendly interest in you. You flash the red cape and like a bull, I charge every
time. When that fails, you use words and threats until I'm completely backed
against the wall, with nowhere to. When that happens there's only one way for me
to escape - by striking out at you.

Despite all that, I know when things get me down all I have to do is pick up the phone and you will be at my side within minutes. Your the only person I can rely to be there for me. No matter what's happened between us in the past 24 hours, no matter insults I've thrown at you this time, you'll be there, reassuring me and holding me close. Your the only person in this crazy world I can trust completely.

It's not all bad and I know that if we work hard enough we can get through these rough patches. It may not be for a long time, but good things come to those who wait. Besides, all these bumps mean that when we hit the smooth patch, we'll appreciate it more. Trust me Princess, I'm not the kind of guy to put much effort into a lost cause. We'll over come the odds.

I must be insane, putting up with this crap. Loves makes you do things you normally wouldn't otherwise do. It sure as hell makes you put up with a lot more. Under any other circumstances, this wouldn't be happening. I wouldn't take this crap from anyone else. But I love you and if I didn't the name calling and insults would've ended a long time ago. It's because I love you that I put with it all... and at moments, it's worth it.
